Sizing Guide
Our sizing is not standard retail sizing (although in our experience, there is nothing ‘standard’ about retail sizing. A size 14 in one store will feel more like a size 10 in the next!)
Our sizing is comfortable and generous. Our Medium is a size 14-16. Our Small fits a size 12 and our Large is closer to a size 18. Due to customer feedback, we now offer most styles in a XL (18-20) and 2XL (20-22).
Ladies from a size 10 to a size 22+ are finding kaku clothes that look and feel fantastic.
We recommend that you come along to one of our events or to our showroom where we will give you a personal consultation. If you are ordering from our website, please feel free to ask if you are unsure what size to order.

It’s so easy via our brand new website. Browse the store, choose the items that you would like to buy, put them in your shopping cart and make payment. We will be in touch within a day or two to confirm your order and the delivery details. If any of the items that you selected are out of stock, we will suggest some alternatives or otherwise return the payment for that item. Please also feel free to call or email first to confirm that all the items you would like to buy are available.
We host regular pop up events in Johannesburg and Cape Town. Feel free to come along to try on our clothes and enjoy a glass of bubbles with us. Please like our Facebook page and sign up for our newsletter to find out about upcoming events.
We invite all ladies based in Johannesburg to make an appointment to come through to our show room in Fourways. We are on hand to show you our range and make suggestions.
We are open to the ‘Tupperware party’ model where we bring a selection of clothing to your home so that you and your friends can try on clothes whilst enjoying a glass of wine. We are all about making your shopping experience fun and stress free.
We have invested a great deal of time and effort in sourcing beautiful, high quality fabrics. We do not believe in making clothes that require dry-cleaning as it has become too costly.
We do recommend that you take care of your Kaku garments by washing them in lukewarm water and drying out of direct sunlight to keep them looking their bes
KAKU does not carry out alterations, such as shortening pants. If your item is defective in any way, we will repair or replace it.
If you would like to send Kaku clothing as a gift to your sister, mum or friend, please let us know when placing the order. We will gift wrap the parcel beautifully before sending it to the lucky lady.
We have been approached by numerous boutiques that would like to include Kaku clothing as part of their offering. We have created a wholesale pricing model to make it enable us to work with boutiques.
We have also been approached by ladies who would like to become resellers of our clothing. We are also open to supporting this model.
