Here are some frequently asked questions to help you. If you have any other questions, please give us a call or email us.

How to get kaku

It’s so easy via our brand new web-store. Browse the store, choose the items that you would like to buy, put them in your shopping cart and transfer payment. We will be in touch within a day or two to confirm your order and the delivery details. If any of the items that you selected are out of stock, we will suggest some alternatives or otherwise return the payment for that item. Please also feel free to call or email first to confirm that all the items you would like to buy are available.

We host regular events in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Lusaka. Feel free to come along to try on our clothes and enjoy a glass of bubbles with us. Please like our Facebook page to find out about upcoming events.

We invite all of you ladies based in Johannesburg to make an appointment to come through to our show room in Fourways. We are happy to help and make suggestions.

We are open to the ‘Tupperware party’ model where we bring a selection of clothing to your home so that you and your friends can try on clothes whilst enjoying a glass of wine. Let’s face it, not many of us relish the thought of the harsh lights and discomfort of change rooms!

We are all about making your shopping experience fun and stress free.

Our fabrics

We have invested a great deal of time and effort in sourcing beautiful, high quality fabrics. We do not believe in making clothes that require dry-cleaning as it has become far too costly.

We do recommend that you take care of your Kaku garments by washing them in lukewarm water and drying out of direct sunlight to keep them looking their best.

Alterations

KAKU does not carry out alterations, such as shortening pants. If your item is defective in any way, we will repair or replace it.

Gifts

If you would like to send Kaku clothing as  a gift to your sister, mum or friend, please let us know when placing the order. We will gift wrap the parcel beautifully before sending it to the lucky lady.

Wholesale/Reseller opportunities

We have been approached by numerous boutiques that would like to include Kaku clothing as part of their offering. We have created a wholesale pricing model to make it viable for us to work with boutiques.

We have also been approached by ladies who would like to become resellers of our clothing. We are also open to supporting this model.

If you are interested in becoming a retail partner, please email us on karen@kaku.co.za.

Please see our terms and conditions for more details about payment, delivery and returns.
